Decisions. Decisions. Want to make the most of each moment of break? Be sure to have that binge list ready on queue.

Between seeing relatives, studying for midterms, Christmas shopping, and all of the other stressful aspects of winter break, taking some time to kick back and relax is important. What better way to pass the time than by watching some TV? Here are some new releases on Netflix to binge over break:

  • Dumplin – This Netflix original has a great body positive message, and is quite entertaining. With stars like Jennifer Aniston and Dove Cameron, this film stands out from other rom-coms on the platform. Willowdean “Dumplin” Dickson struggles to make peace with her mother after the death of her aunt. It’s a great watch with a happy ending, perfect for the holidays.
  • Sick Note – Rupert Grint makes a triumphant return to the small screen in this hilarious medical comedy. The show follows the antics of Daniel Glass, who is misdiagnosed with cancer, but realizes that he can profit off the mistake. The show has stars such as Lindsey Lohan and Nick Frost. Once you start this series you won’t want to stop, but luckily you can watch both seasons on Netflix now.
  • CAM– This dystopian thriller is great for fans of horror. Stephen King himself said: “Loved CAM, on Netflix. Great lead performance by Madeline Brewer.” It follows a popular webcammer as she solves the mystery of her stolen online persona. It’s full of suspense and jump scares. While the main plot is the horror aspect, it also offers a behind the scenes look into the life of an online cam-girl.
  • Baby– The series follows two girls, who have seemingly spotless lives in Rome, but begin secretly going deeper and deeper into the underworld of the wealthy part of Italy. This emotional drama is a must-see for anyone who feels fed up in their day to day life. The realism of the show makes it seem eerily familiar to anyone who’s ever daydreamed about running away and doing something completely out of the ordinary.
  • The Little Mermaid– Netflix’s take on this classic fairytale will not disappoint fans of the Disney original. In this version, a mermaid imprisoned in a circus freak show enters the lives of a journalist (who doesn’t believe in supernatural and magical things), and his little sister, who is a true believer in the extraordinary. This is a great one to watch with family, or alone, to put you in the spirt of believing. This lighthearted tale is definitely one to check out this holiday season.
