Pat-Med is calling for all of our biggest fans to fill the spirit section. Let’s show them how to get it done!

Picture this, it’s a Friday night under the lights, the football team is ready to go, the Marching Band is playing our favorite songs, the cheerleaders are flipping and cheering, but there’s one thing missing….the students!
School spirit can bring together many people, and when it’s put to use it can help a team win their game. The student section is a vital part of every Raiders football game as it shows support for the team and hypes them up. This year a group of seniors decided to “spice up” our student section!
Seniors Ana Seifert, Kyersten Fabizio, Liv Hofer, and Steph Sheridan all created a list of game day themes for the student section. The list is as follows:
– 9/27/19 : USA themed (Red, White, and Blue)
– 10/11/19 : Pink Out (breast cancer awareness)
– 10/19/19 : Homecoming (school colors)
– 11/1/19 : Black Out (senior night)
“We just hoped to bring more school spirit into the games,” Ana claimed.
Kyersten stated, “We wanted to see everyone come together as a school and in turn make the games more fun for everyone.”
Furthermore, from a football player’s perspective, Senior running back Angelo Devita said, “Having packed bleachers at an away game shows how special this community is, and it brings so much more energy to the team when the crowd gets loud… That’s exactly how every game has to be and this team will continue to strive off of that energy.”
In the NFL they refer to the fans as the “12th player” on the field, so let’s show everyone what our 12th players got, and help our Raiders win it all!
