Pumpkin Spice Pancakes
It’s that time of year again, we all know that when the weather becomes chilly and the leaves begin to fall, pumpkin flavored treats become everyone’s favorite. These delicious pumpkin flavored goodies range from lattes all the way to meals such as pumpkin pasta and more. How can it get any better than that? Well let me tell you, nothing can top america’s most loved fall time flavor combined with the world’s most favorite breakfast. That’s right, homemade pumpkin spice pancakes. Get ready to indulge yourself in these scrumptious classic pancakes with a sweet and savory twist. Such a quick and simple homemade recipe for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s what you need:
-1 ¼ cups of flour
-2 tsp of baking powder
-2 tbsp of brown sugar
-¼ tsp salt
-¾ tsp of ground cinnamon
-¼ tsp of ground nutmeg
– dash of ground ginger and cloves
-1 cup of milk
-½ cup of pumpkin puree
-1 large egg
-2 tbsp of vegetable oil.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. In a large bowl mix together sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, and spices. Make sure all of these ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Next, in a smaller bowl stir together the milk, pumpkin, egg and oil. After that, combine both mixtures and make sure it is smooth. Now you have your delectable batter!
Pour ⅓ cup portions or desired size of pancake batter onto a greased pan and let cook until you begin to see bubbles form, then flip over your pancake. Let cook until golden brown.
