The Suffolk Youth Poetry Competition is underway!
The competition is a great way for young and aspiring poets across Suffolk County to compete against other poets for a grand prize of $100. The entry is free!
To compete in the competition, you must be between 13-18 years old. You may submit up to two poems with a maximum of thirty five lines per poem and formatted in Times New Roman font, font size 12. Any submissions must be in PDF form within an email addressed to [email protected].
Your poems may be about any subject, good luck to all aspiring Suffolk County poets!
The competition is brought to you by the Suffolk County Poet Laureate Deborah Hauser, Suffolk County Teen Poet Laureate Sarah Goodman, and Bards Laureate Emeritus Linda Dickman.
