I started playing the violin in 4th grade and once I got to middle school I developed a deeper love for music. Music is really important to me and I can’t really imagine spending my life doing anything else. I really want to go to college for music performance in the city to pursue my goal of playing violin in a pit orchestra on Broadway someday. I look up to all my music teachers who constantly encourage me to work hard towards my goals. Mr. Mahr, especially, is a musician I look up to. I think he is an amazing performer and he has taught me most of what I know about music today.
