PMHS students enjoy beautiful weather as they walk to support a worthy cause.

Families and community members alike came out in support of ALS: Ride for Life

As part of the festivities, a balloon artist was there to entertain kids and families.

Children got their faces painted.

PMHS students played lawn games throughout the evening.

Chris Pendergast of Miller Place was diagnosed with ALS 24 years ago and was told he only had 3 years to live. Now, he is one of Long Island's most important advocates for ALS research.

More PMHS students enjoy the beautiful weather as they come out in support of ALS: Ride for Life.

Mrs. Bing and Mrs. Cani, teachers and advisors, were part of the team responsible for organizing and fundraising for the event.

PMHS students played lawn games on the field.

The Pat Med community raised $8,000 to support ALS research. It was announced last night that the money would go toward local testing of a new treatment recently discovered.

Students used solo cups to spell out "STRIKE OUT ALS" on our field's fence.

The HS jazz band played throughout the evening.
