With the last season of Stranger Things being released during the holiday season, many hardcore fans of this show have been in their feelings recently since the show is finally coming to an end after ten years.
Bri whos been a major fan said“I started watching this show in 2019, so I’m pretty upset to see it finally come to end. I kinda grew up watching the show.”
Daniel, who is also a huge fan, said that “They feel pretty nostalgic with the last season ending because we watched the cast grow up over the years.”
So far, only Vol 1 of season 5 has come out. Vol 2 comes out on December 25th, and the finale comes out Jan 1st. To catch people up on the first vol of Stranger Things season 5; in the first vol, we see the core four boys back together working as a team to find Vecna.
We also see some new romance developments now that Joyce and Hopper are officially together and have more screentime. And Jonathan and Steve are both at competition for Nancy’s attention. They all together go on “crawls” where they all have different roles to find out where Vecna has been hiding.
One of crawls takes an unexpected turn that leaves Hopper stuck in the upside down. While the Wheeler family is having more screentime, we see Holly Wheeler taken by a demogorgon and her parents severally injured from the fight they put up.
And on the last episode of Vol 4, they reveal that Will has powers just like Eleven after all these seasons.
With only Vol 1 being out, many fans have come up with theories with potential of happening in oVl 2 and the finale.
One popular assumption is that our loved character Robin Buckley is going die in Vol 2. The reason why fans believe is because the character Robin is considered to be a side role rather than a main role, and this season Robin works at a radio station and is the main host of the station called “WSQK.”
With both of these things being said, fans having been saying that Robin has had a lot of screentime compared to season 3 and 4, so many believe that she might be dying in Vol 2 since she has so much screentime, and because workers of the show have said that the song “Video Killed The Radio Star,” by The Buggles will be in Stranger Things season 5. Which is also why fans are thinking that Robin will since the song name could be a metaphor into her dying since she works as the main host at a radio station.
Now, with this being the last season the creators of this show said that “they are bringing Stranger Things 5 to a full circle.” They also stated that “season 5 will remind fans of season 1 and give fans a feeling of nostalgia.”
So you can expect the vibes that season 1 had had but it being more intense, gory, and exciting since this is the last season of Stranger Things. So enjoy Vol 1 of Stranger Things and prepare for Vol 3 and the finale on Netflix!
