One show, four endings. Go see In Pieces if you dare.

Boo. Did I scare you? If I did, you have another thing coming for you at ThinkBIG! this October.

In Pieces, a new play by Shawn Thorgersen, (a Patchogue resident and the co-founder of ThinkBIG! Theater Arts) is a cross between the hit sixties TV show The Twilight Zone and an escape room, structured as series of creepy scenes. Here you will encounter a new level of psychological fear in the dark black box theater. There is no chance that you will not get freaked out at least once. No one is safe from the dark and what lies in the shadows.

The show plays on the fears inside our minds as well as the monsters under our beds and in our closets. Its story goes like this: In a small town plagued by a string of murders, we follow a series of haunting short stories that may ultimately help the audience decide which of four characters is the murderer–and decipher a secret password to help the innocents escape certain doom.

With four possible endings that the audience must figure out on their own, you’re unlikely to see the same finale twice. But choose carefully, as you never know what lurks in the dead of night.

The show’s performance dates are October 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th at 8pm and the 27th at 7pm. You can purchase your tickets in numerous ways.

First, you could go online to thinkbigtheaterarts.org under the tickets tab; you can call (631) 307-4042 and reserve tickets, or show up the night of the performance you wish to attend with $20 in hand.

But here’s a special treat: Pat-Med students who show their student ID will get their tickets at the door for $15. Feel free to visit ThinkBIG! On Facebook at ThinkBIG! Theater Arts for more information.

This play is a great Halloween date night, or a perfect spooky night out with friends. If you are a fan of thrillers or horror, this is a play for you. Or if you aren’t a fan, come and support local community theater.

Come down and don’t be shy. The shadows will be waiting for you.
