Kylie Peregoy, a senior on the Patchogue-Medford Field Hockey Team, was recognized as Athlete of the Month for September. Kylie is a three year varsity captain, leading the team in goals and assists. In a game at the end of September, she had a hat trick and the third goal was the game winner in overtime.

“Kylie is a great leader and sets a high standard of play,” said Coach Sacco.

Constantly encouraging and supporting her teammates, Kylie also works hard and sets high standards for herself. She is on the student athlete advisory committee and was involved with raising money for breast cancer in the “Stick it to Cancer” field hockey game.

“This sport has created countless memories and many opportunities as well as friendships that will last me a lifetime,” said Kylie Peregoy.

To continue growing her love for the sport in college, Kylie recently committed to play Field Hockey at Adelphi University in the fall of 2020.
