I help hundreds of students who come to Pat-Med to learn and to adapt to the new system. I volunteer and help with the Spanish “Erase Una Ves ” Spanish play to help so that the kids can have somewhere to go afterschool. My proudest moment is when a student succeeds in life. I want my student to be the best they can be reach the highest limit. I love teaching kids Spanish because I know how hard it is to come to a new country with a new language with a new everything.
My biggest inspiration is when I leave this building and come home, I leave thinking I think today I changed someone’s life today maybe with words that they don’t understand. Every time I tell my students, “One day at time” patience — everything will come, you just need to take time, don’t rush.
