Goodbye from the Editor

Dear Raiders,

As my time as Editor in Chief comes to a close, I would like to acknowledge the Red and Black and Raider TV’s accomplishments over the course of this school year.

Our staff has grown considerably since last year, and they have made the revival of the Red and Black and Raider TV possible. Through their hard work, we have produced countless articles, slideshows, episodes and more, that have reminded our audience of our reputation and kept the community engaged.

Although we were not able to win the awards that we originally sought out at the beginning of the year, we have made considerable progress that has made this goal more attainable for current and future members.

Congratulations to the new Editor in Chief, Ceania Gonzales, for earning this position after all your hard work! I can’t wait to see what have planned for the Red and Black and Raider  TV.

I hope that the team will grow, both through new club members and through the journalism class, and continue to set an example for other school journalism programs.

Thank you, Mrs. McKeough and Mrs. Sullivan, for giving me this opportunity and working with me to improve my skills as an editor and writer. I had a great experience, and I will miss you both!

Goodbye and good luck!
