This NFL season has had the entire country in uproar recently.
However, it was not because of what happened on the field, but rather who was in attendance. Taylor Swift surprised everyone when she was spotted in Travis Kelce’s family suite at the Arrowhead Stadium on September 24th!
Rumors of a blossoming relationship between these two sparked after Swift’s Era’s Tour performance in Kansas City back in July.
In his podcast, New Heights, Travis talked about how he made a friendship bracelet, which is Era’s tour tradition, with his phone number on it and was planning on giving it to Taylor after the show.
Unfortunately for him, he claims she was not speaking to anyone before or after the show to save her voice.
It was until this most recent game that the public was given more to speculate about.
After the game, the “couple” leaving together and driving off in Kelce’s getaway car (iykyk). This move by Swift came as a shock to everyone as she has never openly spoken about Kelce.
Because of this, many are actually questioning whether this could all be a PR stunt.
This relationship seemed to have come out of nowhere. Ever since the game, the sales of Kelce’s jerseys have increased by 400%, his podcast is ranked 1st overall on Apple, and there have been more tickets that have gone on sale in one day since Sunday than tickets since the beginning of the NFL season.
We all know about Taylor and Joe Alwyn’s tragic break-up in April, and September 28th would’ve been their seven-year anniversary.
Fans are still not over the situation and feel like it’s just too soon to be moving on especially after being with someone for as long as she was with Joe.
Freshman Martina Costigliola, who is a huge fan of Swift, thinks that all of this is “pretty cool because it would be the first time she’s had a public relationship in a while, and it will be really interesting to see how it plays out.”
A few days later, a photo of the two of them at the Chief’s post-game party was released with Swift’s arm around Kelce looking very cozy together.
It might be too early to confirm anything serious soon, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
