On February 14th, the ACES Wellness and CTE Cosmetology classes collaborated with each other in honor of Valentines Day/P.S. I Love You Day to teach the ACES students about taking care of themselves and how to maintain a great mental health, while the Cosmetology students practiced doing manicures on others.
Mrs.Poulis said that her and her ACES class met Ms.Constantino during the CTE fair and her students loved it. With the student’s love and interest in CTE, Mrs.Poulis and Ms.Constantino decided to collaborate with each other to give both classes and experience most schools wouldn’t get; a manicure during the school day!
“Some of these students got their nails clean and filed for their first time!” says Mrs.Poulis.
