Currently, I am trying very hard not to touch my face. I didn’t realize how hard it was until now. I’ve probably touched my face over a dozen times today without realizing it. But, on the bright side, I have been washing my hand more thoroughly. They say to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, but I seem to lose count by the time I reach 7. So, I have resorted to singing the Patriot Act theme song. Apparently it is 20 seconds long. In case you don’t know that show, the happy birthday song works just as well. Washing your hands is crucial to preventing the spread of illness. If you would like to learn the proper way to wash your hand click this link to watch a video made by the World Health Organization..

Although it’s been tough, social distancing and proper hand washing are important to flatten the curve of the deadly virus. In the broad scheme of things, staying at home really saves lives. And while you may believe that you can’t catch the virus, remember you might carry it to someone who has a weaker immune system.
