Who are you rooting for this Thanksgiving?

The three most liked things about Thanksgiving are family, food, and…football. Thanksgiving is a day devoted to being with family, eating, and watching football. This year’s “Turkey Bowl” will feature some interesting matchups — either teams will play for divisional dominance or for a chance to be a .500 team at making a push for the playoffs.

The early games will consist of the (6-4) Minnesota Vikings taking on the (6-4) Detroit Lions at Ford Field in a game which could decide who rules the NFC North. Interesting as it is the Vikings started off 5-0 for the season but have been 1-4 in their last five games. Next up for a divisional show down, the (6-3-1) Washington Redskins go to the top of the NFL, currently best team in the league, (9-1) Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium led by rookie Quarterback Dak Prescott. Who wins? Who remains division leaders? To find out we must wait until Thanksgiving.

Prime time matchup will be two AFC teams each with 5-5 records. The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to take on the Indianapolis Colts for what could be a must win for either team if they want a shot at making a wildcard playoff spot; however, the Colts may be in bit of trouble after Quarterback Andrew Luck was recently placed on Concussion Protocol and will likely miss the game. Is this a chance for Steelers to make playoffs? Will the Colts pull off an improbable win? We find out Thursday Night.
